Three years ago, we launched Makers PR with a simple belief: that communications, done right, is one of the most powerful levers in a company's growth stack.
For us, strategic PR is not press releases for the sake of them or coverage as a vanity metric. We believe in communications built around what actually matters: investor confidence, market positioning, talent attraction, and the reputation that opens doors.
Year 3 has been our most focused yet, and the numbers back it up: a 95% client retention rate, 25+ clients to date guided across corporate positioning, brand governance, and stakeholder alignment, and a team’s expertise that's grown to meet the ambition of the founders and executives we work with.
Going Deeper in the Sectors That MatterWe've always worked at the intersection of tech and narrative, and this year, we doubled down on the sectors where storytelling carries real stakes. Fintech, AI, and Web3 remain our core focus.
This is also where our regulatory depth sets us apart. We've advised C-suite leaders navigating highly regulated environments, DIFC, ADGM, VARA, on strategic positioning, reputational risk mapping, and crisis communications. When the stakes are that high, communications can't be an afterthought; it has to be built into the strategy from day one.
We've also grown our portfolio with EdTech, AgroTech, Retail Tech, Entertainment Tech, PropTech, and Pharma cases: sectors undergoing real structural transformation, where companies are often building category-defining products in markets that haven't caught up to what they're doing yet.
The Coverage Speaks for ItselfOur clients appeared in Forbes Middle East, Arabian Business, Arab News, CoinDesk, Fast Company Arabia, Gulf News, Entrepreneur Middle East, Euronews, Al Arabiya, Inc. Arabia, The National - among 1,000+ placements across global and regional media.
These were strategic earned results of media outreach programs designed to secure executive visibility, thought-leadership placements, and tier-one regional coverage. Behind every placement is a positioning decision, a relationship, and a story built to land in the right room at the right time.
We showed up in person too, supporting clients across 20+ industry events: from GITEX and the Dubai FinTech Summit to Seamless Middle East, managing speaking engagements, media interviews, journalist roundtables, and on-site presence that turned attendance into visibility.
What Year 3 Looked LikeWe supported communications around fundraises, product launches, and market entries across MENA and beyond. We helped founders shape their narratives before the next capital raise. We worked alongside executive teams on investor visibility, thought leadership, and positioning that compounds over time. And beyond earned media, we advised clients on CSR, investor relations, and government relations to strengthen reputation and stakeholder engagement at every level.
We also launched new frameworks for comms at scale: playbooks for companies entering the Gulf market, intensives for C-suite execs building their public voice, and advisory tracks for Series A–C+ companies that need a thinking partner rather than just an agency.
And we put that thinking partner mindset into practice for the businesses that need it most. In April, we launched
MENA Makers, an initiative offering complimentary advisory sessions to selected UAE founders and leadership teams covering media positioning, founder storytelling, crisis preparedness, and messaging clarity at a time when SMEs are under real pressure to communicate their value clearly.
The industry noticed too. Makers PR took home Gold for Most Innovative PR Agency in MENA at the Stevie Awards 2025, recognition that reflects the client strategy and positioning work behind it. Our team also gave back to the ecosystem as mentors at Ignyte (DIFC) and the Abu Dhabi SME Hub, and took the stage as speakers and moderators at Seamless Middle East and STEP Dubai.
What's NextYear 4 is about expanding our reach without diluting what makes Makers PR work: passion, expertise, network, and refusal to treat comms as a box to tick. We're deepening our presence in markets where tech is scaling fast, and where the narrative gap between what companies are building and what the world understands is still wide open.
If you're building something that matters, we'd like to help you tell it in a way that's worthy of it.
To everyone who's trusted us with their brand over the last three years: thank you. The best chapters are still ahead.
Year 4, let's go.— The Makers PR Team
